Overview
Grand View's marketing department is looking for a creative and technically proficient communications specialist who will assist with Grand View's digital recruiting efforts. To be a successful, candidates must have strong communication and writing skills and have an aptitude for creating electronic communications.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop innovative, creative and on-brand email communications for prospective students, parents and other audiences
• Manage email and text portion of GV's marketing/recruiting software (CRM), including setting up communication flows
• Ensure University-wide adherence to Grand View brand and editorial standards
• Work with GV marketing team to write and create admissions marketing materials
• Work with Enrollment Database Specialist to develop and manage all admissions communication flows
• Other writing and marketing duties as assigned

Job Qualifications and Required Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English or related field preferred
• Strong writing and communication skills

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Self-starter, motivated
• Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills
• Ability to work independently and in groups
• Creative, ability to develop new ideas and initiatives
• Demonstrated experience with electronic communications like email distribution platforms, enewsletters or similar.
